Shhh it’s secret! //  Lunch @ Goodness Gracious Liverpool

I love finding new places to visit in Liverpool. I often wonder how we don’t know that certain places exist in the city which we live in. One of the places which I’ve only recently heard of is a rooftop terrace in Liverpool. Located by the Albert dock, just on top of Oh Me Oh My. I’ve never actually eaten at Oh Me Oh My but that looked really nice inside too. I actually know a few people who have had their wedding at Oh Me Oh My in Liverpool and I’ve heard that it is gorgeous.

A mere stroll on my lunch at work ended up being a really pleasant and chilled hour. The atmosphere is so calming – I wanted to spend the rest of my afternoon there. Sadly, I simply couldn’t.

It was a lovely sunny day which made my visit that little bit nicer. I ordered a cider (As you do!) and a coronation chicken sandwich with salad. It was really nice – I could just about finish it.

Did I mention the views? I love the buildings in Liverpool anyway but the view of the Liverbuilding and River Mersey was spectacular.

The rooftop terrace is decorated with plants and colourful furniture. For a second – I could have sworn that I was on holiday. Then reality hit and I was back off to work😣. On the plus side – just as I was getting up to go,  it started to rain. Typical Liverpool weather, I suppose.
How could I have not known about Goodness Gracious? I really need to spend more than an hour at this terrace some time soon – it would be the perfect place to have afternoon cocktails with the girls!

Thank you for stopping by! Let me know if there is any great places that you have found lately. In Liverpool or out of Liverpool.

Gosh, Liverpool has changed so much since I lived there. We used to go to the Casablanca club and the Everyman Theatre bar. Fun times.
