Red on Red – Budget OOTD

Well, we are approaching the last of our summer days aren’t we? I like how we still get a few nice sunny days in September. Even so, I’m still looking forward to Autumn. For now, I’m enjoying the last of the sun. It’s not very often I wear colour – so when I do, I like to snap lots of photos! I’m all for black usually. However, on Saturday – I spent quality time with the family in the sun. I thought it was the prime time to rock the new skirt I bought from Which was in the sale! It’s a classic red skirt which I’m in love with. I actually started the day wearing a black top with the skirt and then after a day thrift shopping with my sister I purchased this cute floral top. It’s a piece by F&F clothing at Tesco. It matched my skirt perfectly. It was actually a thrift buy.

If you are wondering how much my floral top set me back – it was a mere £2. What a bargain and for charity too! More than pleased with that thrift shop find! I think it really sets off the skirt, doesn’t it? The outfit works perfect with flat sandals. Which is perfect because I’m not really a heels all day kind of girl. I’m all for comfort.
My dads garden is a prime setting for blog pictures by the way – all the scenery!

My whole outfit mounted up to a whopping £8! I’m really proud of that. I feel like the outfit looks alot more expensive than that. You really can dress to impress on a budget. I bet you wanna know how I managed a whole outfit for £8, right? Well – I did cheat a little bit as the sandals are actually belong to my mum! But, the rest of my outfit was completely budget friendly.

Top – F&F Clothing: £2
Skirt – Boohoo: £6
Sandals – I nicked these from my mum: £0.
Total: £8!!!!

I made my outfit even more red by rocking Mac’s “Lady Danger”. It’s my favourite red shade. I don’t often wear it but when I do I love it. I felt a little over dressed but hey, the world is my runway. Mwuhahah. Thank you for reading – let me know what you think of my budget outfit! 🛍🛍. I’m actually really excited to wear this outfit again. I find it’s a perfect outfit to wear with a red lip. Red on Red on Red. I’m also wearing a Michael Kors watch and sun glasses from New Look. The Michael Kors watch was a present for my 21st birthday from John. <3. I’m completely in love with it.img_4467
